Is there any mileage limit for the rented car?

All the cars available for rent with us come with a 200 km per day and 4500 km per month mileage limit. For every additional km, we will charge AED 0.50 extra.

What if I return the car later than the rental period?

You will be charged an extra amount for each additional day after the contract date ends.

What happens if I leave things behind in the rental vehicle?

+

We do not take responsibility for anything left behind in our rental car.

Is there a security deposit with all rentals?

+

Yes, based on your preferred vehicle, you will be required to deposit either AED 1000 or 1500 as the security deposit. The amount shall be returned to you 30-days after the contract ends.

Any road safety tips in Dubai?

  • Keep a safe distance with the vehicle in front of you
  • Flow the signs on-road and stay within the speed limit
  • The driver, as well as the passengers, are required to wear seatbelts
  • Overtaking is permitted from both sides of the road, but be sure to check your rear and side-view mirrors before doing so
  • Do not use mobile phones while driving
  • Follow all traffic signals

Do we get baby seats with the rental car?

Yes, at Al Emad Car Rental, we have baby, child, and booster seats that can be attached to any vehicle model, available for a small fee.

Is there any minimum period for car rental?

The least package available with us is the daily, calculated on a 24-hour basis. There are no discounts from our side even if you return the vehicle before the agreed time.

How much should I pay for fuel?

You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when you rented it from us. If the amount is less, we will charge for the same.

Is a credit card required to hire a car?

Al Emad Car Rental has three payment options. You can pay through credit card, debit card, or cash.

Are the prices mentioned on the website all-inclusive?

Yes, we guarantee that the prices available on the website include periodic services, maintenance, roadside assistance, and more. It does not have any hidden charges.

Can I avail Super Collision Damage Waiver?

Yes, you can get it from us for an additional cost of AED 250 + VAT per month. With the SCDW, you can protect the vehicle in case of accidents.

Can anyone other than the named driver on the agreement drive the car?

Yes, with Al Emad Car Rental, you can add an extra driver for a minimum charge. You can do so from our counter during the time of renting by providing a valid driving license and passport of the additional person.

What is Salik?

Dubai RTAs innovative road tax collection system. All the cars that you rent from us come with the Salik tag. Each time you enter the Salik gate, you will be charged AED 5.25.

What if I receive a parking or traffic violation fine?

Any fine you get while you are driving a rental car from us must be paid by you. If not, you will be charged an extra 10% along with the actual fine.

Which driving license should I hold to hire a car in Dubai?

Any tourist residing within UAE must have an international driver's license to rent a car Dubai from us. While a person who is a resident or national in the country must have a driving license, that s at least six months old.

Will I get roadside assistance in case of a breakdown or accident?

Yes, our experts are available 24 hours at your service. We provide roadside assistance in case of any unfortunate incident.

What happens if the vehicle is returned late?

In case of delay in the rental car returns, we charge an extra amount based on the additional days you have held the vehicle.

Do you provide airport drop-offs?

Yes, we provide drop-off services to any location within Dubai at a minimum charge.

What is the age to rent a car in Dubai?

+

Even though you can get a driving license in Dubai at 18, you must complete 22 years to hire a car in the emirate.

What insurance comes with the rental car?

All our cars come with a 100% insurance cover for drivers who are 25 years or above and hold a driving license in Dubai for not less than one year. And an 80% insurance cover for drivers between 22-25 years of age with a drivers license that is 6-12 months old.
